Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Invincible (Chronicles of Nick #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
YA Fantasy
Rating 5 Stars

Nick Gautier’s day just keeps getting better and better. Yeah, he survived the zombie attacks, only to wake up and find himself enslaved to a world of shapeshifters and demons out to claim his soul.
His new principal thinks he’s even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit him to things he can’t even mention and the girl he’s not seeing, but is, has secrets that terrify him.

But more than that, he’s being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he doesn’t learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will become one of them...

My Thoughts: Another fantastic book! The twists and turns make it one great roller coaster. I especially loved how it ended. Kody seems to be getting more and more interesting and their relationship is a lot different than the relationships you see today in paranormal romance books. It's more up my alley of romance. Not the desperate, "Oh, I can't live without you" stuff you have been seeing lately. The action is just as intense as the first. I love the who can you trust thing. Nick was thrown into this world and he is being pulled from all directions but he really doesn't know who he can trust. Makes for a pretty interesting read. Ooh, and I can't forget Simi! I love her. She's just the kind of crazy this book needs.
