My Thoughts: The
cover was what originally got me interested in this book and I am seriously
glad it did. I am not used to reading novels from a males point of view so it
was a bit different but it was not a bad different whatsoever. Scott was a well-developed
character that seemed really good at playing football and was a pretty popular
guy. Gwen is his complete opposite and that was pretty much what attracted him
to her. She was a strange girl who kept to herself but it didn’t take long for
her to warm up to Scott. That does not surprise me because Scott is a very
impressive character. He has the makings of a snob but isn’t one at all. The
plot is also well developed and I think it’s an amazing story. I did see that
this novel got an award in 2012 and I believe it was well deserved.
